I have played every single C+C game, since the begining! Command and Conquer, Dune 2 and Total Anhilation were my RTS bread and butter when I was a pup.
Now, C+C 4 is almost upon us, its the final chapter and its been arse raped, I believe Hitler sums it up perfectly.
C&C4 is shit, EA have messed up, it seems like supcom 2, they are aiming for a console market, sure they said this is a PC only game, but yeah right, in a few months it will be released for consoles and they will enjoy it, this has many fans up in arms, gone are the days of decent RTS, at least blizzard are working on SC2, even if they take a long time doing it
I won't be getting C&C4, 3 was messed up after many patches, it seems EA just want quicker games, to suit people with short attention spans, also EA have fired most of the staff at EALA, and brought in a new team, but with the game out soon, it will be a epic flop, sure some people are going to buy it, but EA don't care, they should sell the rights and stop butchering games, which is all EA are good at now

well this is disappointing, I have read that C&C4 WILL ONLY HAVE 17 MISSIONS!!!!
and the game time for each will be 30 to 40 minutes each, or 10 to 14 hours total game time tops, then its onto boring MP, which has a life cycel of maybe a few days, if that, to me this is absurd, yet they are changing full price for this silly so called full game which is more of an expansion, what a bloody rip off!!
EA have killed off the C&C series that is for sure, damn EA

well the game is now out, and while there aren't that many reviews yet, those that have reviewed the game give this game 6 / 7 which is to be expected considering the huge changes that the game has undergone, what is more, EA servers are shit, many can't connect or remain connected to play the game, its one huge mess to be sure, wouldn't touch this game with a barge pole, its that bad, and the campaign is short, and FMV are also short and pointless, as are the missions themselves, and the pop cap is so low in SP its complete BS, EA said this will end kane's story with a bang, but its turning out to be the complete reverse, and with people struggling to play it, (US) EU customers have to wait a bit more, and the forum is littered with angry people, this game is one epic fail, EA should shoot themselves for making a complete shit pile of poo of a game

the story is short, only 3 prequel missions then 7 missions which ever side you choose, so 14 in total, many people have completed it, some guy did upload the GDI ending, but I think its been pulled, I have watched it and all I can say is WTF????
you see kane in a white room, (presumably the scrin tower from C&C3, and a very shoody piece of art work as a gate / portal, and kane who is dependent on the commander / you, to activate the gate so that he can go home, (where ever that is) as kane isn't explained at all, only that he been stuck here for thousands of years, but nothing else, the FMV are shoody, low budget, as is the game, plenty of people are complaining, and to top it off, plenty can't play as the servers aren't up to the taks, any kind of packet loss, and your up sh&t creek, and do EA care? NO!! this game is a bloody horrible game, no I haven't got it, but its not worth getting, ovoid like the plague, also many scores are hovering around the 7/ 10 mark, even if that is a bit too kind for this bad, bad, bad game
Im sure EA are lauging their arses off, as they enticed many people to the game simply for the story and FMVs, but they are bad, and not worth getting the game for, and MP is simply too bad its boring

I bought it. was terribly disappointed almost immediately upon starting it. you "HAVE" to play online/skirmish games if you even want to access everything in the game.
the story so far, from GDI side, a guy (you) almost dies, but is apparently fully healed by getting some optical implants. your wife cries a bunch, she blows up, GDI leadership is apparently working for NOD, and crazy woman who I haven't figured out if she's supposed to be your superior or not, is going to assassinate Kane with what looks like an M21, which seems a little outdated for almost being the 22nd century.
amusingly it's been less then 3 days and there is already an offline crack out. and even in the general chat within the game, people complain about the game. lol

and here are the final cut scenes and to be honest its just WTF!!! to both, I really hoped that they would have done a better job, but no, they messed up like they always do

I really hate EA and hate the way they have destroyed this fantastic series in one fell swoop, 3 was ok, to a point, KW I didn't buy, and 4 I seriously will never touch with a barge pole, as the game is just shoddy and it shows, hate EA
